I'm watching it now. The commentary isn't particularly homely TBH.At least through 2 periods. Cuthbert is great. Boucher is constantly pumping Helle's tires. The female is a bit slanted

It's not much different than the CBC coverage. The FSN coverage in the previous series was extreme homer coverage. This is not IMO

I think the bias was a little more obvious in the 3rd but it wasn’t near as bad as the Minny series. Just glad to have NBC full time now.

he's the best PBP announcer in the world, IMO. Best hockey announcer and phenomenal at calling CFL. Such a shame his hockey calling is being wasted while we suffer through this Rogers nonsense...
