Mikael Grabovski potential is probably a second line winger. He's very small but he's fast and skilled. He will stay in Russia for another year and after that, he will probably come over to play for the Bulldogs. He might start right away with the Habs but it's very unlikely...

Bottom line, he's 2 years away from the NHL...

I havent seen them all play so Im not going to rank them. But I think only one of Babchuk and Seabrook will play in the NHL next year and it will all be decided in training camp.

Fleischmann missed the last half or so of the season due to an injury, so I would think that he will probably remain in the AHL for at at least the first half of next season (if not the entire the year)

Picard will probably make the Jackets out of training camp if he uses the same amount of work ethic that Fritsche used in 03-04 to make the team. The Jackets will no doubt be going for the youth movement, and Picard will probably play a part in that sooner rather than later.

The only redwings prospects on that list who may play in the NHL next year would be Grigorenko or Franzen. Hudler and Bootland MAY get call-ups. Filpulla, and Quincey are still a few years away.

:handclap:

Also for the Habs, Korneev might never play in the NHL. He's a good player but I don't know if he will ever come over. He will have to play at least a full year in the AHL before dreaming about the NHL. That means a big salary cut. Skill wise, he can become an awesome PP specialist. Bottom line, he could be a less complete Andrei Markov...

So he's at least 3 years away from the NHL.

Rate this prospect list... OK, I give it a ten-out-of-ten.

I'm sorry, can't ever resist sarcasm. I actually just don't know much!

I like Seitsonen... I think he'll make a rock solid player... by HF ratings, I give him 5.5B.

Lundmark has struggled, and it's safe to say he won't live up to his pre-draft expectations, but he's been training since hockey ended, and when he returns with strength, he can be a good second or third line playmaker/PK guy. 7.5C.

To have Lundmark that low based on potential is very dumb. I mean, he's already an NHL player. That is more than what 80% of those players will be. Plus he's improved vastly this year in the AHL and finally played like he loved the game again in the second half of the year.

Ryan Oulahen should be in your list of Detroit prospects. First Detroit forward selected in the strong 2003 draft. Led the coaches poll in the OHL Eastern Conference in 5 categories. Has a pro game that McGrath can only dream of at this point. Oulahen will be groomed as Draper's replacement in 2-4 years. He and Quincy will be in Grand Rapids this year. The jury is still out on McGrath and he will be in the OHL again this year (age) without the support of Richards, Benoit, Clarkson, and Keefe. His point production could be in jepardy as a result. Those are the 3 players that I've seen play the most.

It's not dumb when i think that all those players will have a better career then him. He was drafted in 99, and hasn't done much in the NHL, if at all.
