Henrich is big, works the puck well down low, has good hands and takes a beating in front of the net. Why was he cut?

Henrich is big, works the puck well down low, has good hands and takes a beating in front of the net. Why was he cut?

i dont know....they say they want to big but then dawes stays...i think they shouldnt worry about size and stuff...they should just do what gretzky did at the Olympics...he took the best players in canada...b/c he believed that they could adpat to any sitaution (ie a scorer in the CHL to a checker on the juniors). i also agree with that...b/c like last year wehen they need a goal it wont be as hard to find one who can score.

Remember this tournament is being played on an international ice. Speed is a necessity for a team to do well----Dawes has speed, Henrich doesn't. As far as size goes, there are already players at camp that fill those spots (Burns, Carter, Getlaf, Stewart).
