Rantanen vs. Nylander

Rantanen without thinking twice. When you have two players that are close to equal in skill you start looking for other traits. Both are great skaters, but it's the size that really sets them apart. I've been a fan of Mikko for a long time, but I've always appreciated William as a player and think he's got a pretty high ceiling. Anyway, Rantanen is younger, plays in a way worse team, and yet is nearly PPG player right now despite of being only 21 years of age. That's pretty insane from a 10th overall pick.

Nylander at ES has the pts edge 39-36.
Rantanen gets nearly 4 mins pp time per game, willie gets a hair over 2.

Maybe he should be better on the PP then?

As wingers Mikko has that size and goal scoring ability I prefer in a winger.

Nylander as a center would be more valuable though, due to his superior play-making and 5-on-5 play.
