Keep in mind Edmonton Oilers were in the SCF in 2006. But now with McDavid, and with Chiarelli as GM and Todd Mcllelan as HC, I'm confident Edmonton will turn it all around.

I'm not sold on Cam Talbot either.

Yeah they made the SCF in 2006. Cam Ward won the Conn Smythe that year too. Now he's an urn of cremated remains on a mantle somewhere.

And speaking of him and 2006, Carolina won the cup that year. They've still been one of the more poorly run franchises in sports since then, and even in the years before that.

Edmonton should be way back, maybe 8
