Duane has four Cups. Brent has 2. Brian, Darryl, Rich, and Ron are tied for third with zero.

I would say Brian and Brent were pretty equal just like Ron and Duane but Darryl was better then Rich. Here's how I would rank them.

The point totals only tell part of the story. On the defensive side of things, Ron was the best with Brent a close second; in fact Brent was probably one of the top ten two-way forweards of the 80s.
Where Darryl ranks depends on how much credit you give somebody for time missed due to injury. Once with Chicago he missed half a season after tripping over a penny that some idiot fan threw on the ice, doind severe damage to his leg that he never really recovered from.

I think we`re all in agreement that Rich was by far the worst.

Brian was definitely the best. He posted the second highest PPG total playing on mediocre St. Louis teams. His leadership and determination was unparalleled. Even his brothers recognized him as the best leader in the family.

I will admit bias here. I have been a Blues fan since 1970 and Brian is easily my all-time favorite athelete. The determination, pride and diligence he played with have yet to be equaled by anyone I have seen play professional sports.

I gave Ron a bit more credit as he played almost as many games as Darryl and Duane combined.

Ron was a very good player and was valuable even after he left Philadelphia. He was a terrific PK man and forechecker and stayed in the league for years after he'd stopped scoring.

Darryl's career was shortened by all kinds of injuries iirc, but his peak value was very good. I thought Duane was a little better player than Ron but it isn't a huge gap.

PLUS I could be completely wrong!

Brent Sutter had the best individual season of any Sutter, but take that one season away and Brian was far more consistently excellent. Brian was usually in the 35-40 goal, 70-80 point range, Brent a 25-30 goal, 60 point guy.

Darryl was up with Brian and Brent in terms of talent, but injuries wreaked his career. Played his last healthy season at age 24.

Ron and Duane were very, very similar players but Ron was effective for a much longer period of time.

Ron was a key defensive guy, long career, and made the most of his skills. Great leadership, although that could be said for all of them. Darryl was the unluckiest of the brothers hurting his NHL career, but had the greatest skill set of all the brothers. Brian's consistency puts him on top, and Rich is agreed to be the weakest.
I didn't include the cup rings which would move Duane and Brent up one spot each on my list and my memory might be circumspect.

I agree even though I never could stand the Blues.

Even that aside, Brian was the ultimate hard worker, and there's no way I could place any other Sutter ahead of him. (Even though I am a bit of an Isles fan and believe Brent was almost as good.)
