Nice deep analysis. Thanks.
(for real)

Seems about right. Would love one (hopefully two) or your mid six forwards to become a 20-25 goal scorer at the NHL level. While hopeful that they all work out, history says even two will be lucky to make it.

Mascherin, Dellandrea, Eriksson, Back, and Nichushkin seem to fit Nill's high risk, shoot for upside strategy. Maybe Robertson, too. 2 of 6 make it tp consistent 20+ goal scores? OMG, 3 would be heaven on earth for Stars fans.

Things have to balance out for Nill at some point, at least statistically. So, I predict Mascherin, and Robertson eventually contribute some offense. Nuke, maybe. Dellandrea will probably fall to 3C at some point.

I have a great idea: lets take the one thing that is hockey related that we do in the hockey desert of August/September and put it in one thread right between the draft and free agency.

After top stud NHL prospect Jason Dickinson produced 5 points in almost 40 NHL games, I’ve determined that he’s trash

He may be nothing special, but around 5-8 minutes of ice time on a a Hitchcock team isn't going to get you anything at all. I could see Dickinson being a good 3rd/4th liner for us that puts up 15 goals a year as long as he gets fair ice time. He's better than Ritchie/Elie easily in my opinion. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up better than Shore either

Agree he looked list last year, but figured Hitch can do that to you. And the Stars development process stunts a lot of youth, usually D, but maybe its spreading, not LOL.

Monty might correct that to a degree. We hope, especially if they sign JT. We will need a lot of cheap players to do well.
