1. Schultz
2. Dubnyk - expected him to not be good at all .. put my mind to rest and hopefully stops fans from making Bernier\Luongo proposals
3. Ebs - just awesome the way he keeps on scoring
4. RNH AHL - he was as good as Ebs when here
5. Hall
6. RNH WJHC - expected him to be good but hes been great
7. Hemsky in Euro .. him staying healthy alone was good news
8. Smyth - after the first game making
9. Yakupov - great stats playing against men
10. Gagner.. Why did I make this an option? He was on the first line all tourney and did get a couple points in the final

1. Schultz - I can't say enough, look at the rebuild with him in the lineup now, really solidified the team.

2. Hall - get back on the wagon.

3. Dubnyk - still going under the radar.

4. Yakupov - soo young and raw.

5. Eberle - we wouldn't expect anything less.

6. RNH- proving why he is a #1 pick with his flawless talent/hockey i.q.

7. Hemsky - we'll see how healthy he becomes in a more physical league once again but at least he has some finishers to feed his passes to now a days. He is in his prime today, bring back the hype.

8. Gagner - he has talent on his wings now a days in Edmonton, watch out.

none of this is happening in the NHL

seen too many OUTSIDE nhl talent go bust when it came to the NHL game. Just happy that we have so many players that look to have talent

#1: Schultz. Finally we've got our Paul Coffee Cone back. Sure he doesn't skate as fast as Coffee, but he's damn smart with that puck and we're going to have tons of time to enjoy tons of really pretty plays from him and the kids.

#2: Horcoff: Another year of his contract off of the books. Technically, we can waive him after this season when his NMC expires and then we can...

#3: Hall is looking solid and fully recovered... so maybe we can make him the captain at the beginning of next season?

#4: Dubby getting the starting job in the Spengler cup.

#5 Yakupov lighting up the KHL.

#6: Eberle dominating the AHL.

#7: Omark bringing his value up a bit.

#8: Gagner and Smyth playing well at the Spengler.

#9: Marincin looking really good in the AHL

#10: Magnus showing his grit to his game.

Hartikainen should be an option on this list.

His play has proved he's a core piece moving forward and that he belongs in the NHL.

With the improvements Lander is making, it won't be long before many would consider him as well (if he could just start scoring some goals)

nah... This was pretty much expected of him.. He proved he was NHL ready 2 yrs ago.. PPG pace at AHL level is where most expected him to be..

I guess we could've added Omark on the list since he is among league leaders wherever he is playing.. Awesomness worthy ..

Marincin had a good start but has been a healthy scratch and is very inconsistent.
Same with Reider and Petrell..

umm yeh that's because NHL is locked out ... This thread is about Oiler players trolling\dominating other leagues\tournaments in 2012-2013..

Might be worth pointing out that Hall is actually top 5 now, despite his late start, and his early rust.

I don't really want to rank them, because there would be a lot of ties in my mind.

that said the fact that the players we need to be good are playing so good is encouraging.

Dubnyk seizing the starting job at the Spengler, and then having a great tourney is an off season highlight for me.

Between that and Schultz, it would seem some of our major question marks are a little smaller.

Smyth showing that he still has something in the tank is a big positive. The Oilers will need his vet presence and secondary scoring.

Good! We can trade him for Sequin while his value is high. :sarcasm:
