Rabid, I'm curious about you having Suter so far down the list. I haven't seen much of the guy, but a lot of others are putting him right at the top. Just curious if there's something in his game you don't like to put him below Whitney and Greene.

My list was in no particular order. IMO, Suter is probably the best American-born prospect.

For Slovakia, Ruzicka and Meszaros for sure. Not sure if Valabik would make the top 5.

Would anyone else put Ruzicka in the top five prospects from Slovakia? Anyone care to put together a Slovak top five list?

Please refrain from ever using it again. That's the gayest nickname I've ever heard.

It is gay, but considering that's the only nickname for any Ranger prospect I use it on occasion. Of course, I wouldn't use it in a conversation ;)

O'Sullivan is Canadian who just plays for the US team because of his mother, or so i tell myself because i'm so ragingly jealous that the States actually have a top notch scorer in their ranks

Don't feel so bad!

Oh, and..uh...one time, Crosby said he'd like to visit Florida, so that makes him American...yeah!

Do you think Nokelainen is better then Immonen, Korpedo, Tukonen, and Toivenen? Just curious how you'd rank those 5 guys.
Nokelainen is definately a better prospect than Korpikoski, Toivonen and Immonen, and wether you choose Noki or Tuko is really a matter of what kind of players you like.

2 Jesse Joensuu (undrafted)
3 Tuukka Rask (undrafted)
4 Petteri Nokelainen
5 Hannu Toivonen
6 Lauri Tukonen
7 Lauri Korpikoski
8 Jussi Jokinen
9 Mikko Koivu
10 Sean Bergenheim

Immonen, Filppula, Lepistö , Lassila etc very close to each other from 11-x depending on your preference. Let's put Immonen at 11 and Filppula at 12 for those of you who'll nitpick at Joensuu and Rask's inclusion.

Antero Niittymaki certainly deserves a spot somewhere in the top 10.

For most finns he doesn't seem a prospect because we have seen his great play in SM-liiga for many a season.

OK, I made ranking based only on last 2 drafts. If I would make a ranking with all prospects I could include some older players. For example Marcel Hossa (I think he´s still prospect), Jurcina, Malec, Budaj, Bartovic, Svatos, Slovak, Kopecky, Balej, Sejna. So the top 10 of all prospects would be:

1. Balej
2. Meszaros
3. Svatos
4. Marcel Hossa
5. Sejna
6. Ruzicka
7. Budaj
8. Jurcina
9. Valent
10. Bartovic

LMAO! I'm sorry but I've prolly seen more of Balej and Hossa than you because there's no way in hell that Balej is even close to Hossa.

you're right.

hossa should be more like...number 9 or 10.

I agree. Hossa hasn't really showed that much in his time in the NHL (neither had Balej) but Balej has more upside than Hossa at the moment.
