The islanders not having a liquor license for this season cracked me up, least at MSG we can still pay $16 for a budweiser.

The Islanders always manage to make themselves a joke in some way.

Nassau twisty pretzels are no joke though. I don't know if they survived the year off but they were a must.

They did not, they contracted like 6 food trucks to sit outside the arena.

It’s like high school hockey. Period ends, go outside for a pretzel. Only thing they got going for them is that their coach is as good as it gets. He tells Lou what to get and he gets it.

Folks at the customer relations desk at the building said it. Either way they have no beer or booze for sale so if they're choosing not to sell while they have the ability to thats an even more perplexing decision.

Can you not buy single tickets this year?

I was thinking the same thing. I'm guessing it's due to the selling of tickets in "pods" with the limited capacity.

I'm looking for 1 ticket for tonight, or for Saturday. If anyone has one feel free to reach out, thanks!

Today is renewal day! We don’t even know if they are going to allow full capacity in October!

I'm on the fence...haven't renewed yet. Leaning towards doing so considering opening day 21/22 is still nearly 6 months away.

Capacity expanding for indoor arenas to 25% on May 19th. So about 4,500 people if the Rangers somehow make the playoffs.

25% arena capacity in NY beginning May 19th. Regular season ends on that day since Vancouver's delay pushed everything back. Unless the NHL begins the playoffs in the other divisions before Canada, it looks like if the Rangers get in, capacity will be 4,550.

Has anyone been tracking resale this year? I have tickets to a few games at the end of the year that I'm considering moving as I'm planning on heading out to the beach. Has the move been sell early or hold out for game day and hope to capture a late rush?

Looking to partner with someone with season tickets for next year. 2/3/4 seats would be cool. I’ve partnered with several guys over the last 20+ years. If you’re interested, shoot me an email.

Had a situation where I sold last night's tix through stub hub. Got email from SH saying Go to the ticket provider site, transfer the tix and come back and complete the sale. All done with screen shots and by cutting and pasting info from SH email. During the 2d period get an email from ticketmaster saying the buyer never accepted the tix. Opened up a case with SH but kind of concerned that this could be a strategy. Buy a bunch of tix and treat them like call options. Only accept the one with the best price and say you didn't get the others.

I can’t imagine you’d have an issue since it’s not like the person was turned away from the gate. I believe StubHub sends an email to the buyer confirming tickets were transferred which makes the buyer fully aware.

Is that still the case? I'm being dragged to the May 8 game vs the Devils. It's the last game at Nassau (aside from playoffs). I'm not allowed to root against the islanders or wear rangers gear (not that I'd want to after what's happened over the past couple of weeks) so I may just take a wiz in the parking lot after the game to commemorate it.
