I’m officially a NYR season ticket holder! Picked up blue seats, row 3 on the aisle, for $60 a seat!

Spoke to my rep. Relocation in Early June. We get first dibs and no new season tickets have been sold yet.
Yup I was able to order it through a glitch in their system, but I just got a call today saying they have to refund the order cause they’re giving full season ticket holders the right to relocate (and rightly so).

they sold you the tickets, have your lawyer write them a letter so you can keep them

Meh they have that language that says they have the right to revoke the tickets as they wish, etc etc. At the end of the day I just won’t sign up for tickets if they don’t have them in my price range, so it’s their loss.

Does this mean unrenewed inventory is back in the pool for relocation this time around?

It means that they haven't decided what to do with unrenewed inventory (yet). They could put it out there for relocation, or they could look at carving it up... If the Knicks relocate earlier like last year, we should know in advance.

They will carve up those blue seats and sell them for more than you would have paid.

Do you have a link that shows inventory?

Anyone else who is not already a Knicks ticket holder get an email from their rep about an "opportunity" to buy a Knicks tickets plan?

First time I remember getting that email. Although after too many years of too many beers, my memory isn't what it used to be.

I wonder if Knicks plan holders got the same email about Rangers tix.

I got one to the effect, "With 10 picks in the upcoming draft.... blah blah blah.... you're going to want to be here.... Put down a non-refundable $250 per-seat deposit to get priority access to season subscriptions...."

Yawn!

Can you post the email about Knicks tickets? I either deleted it, or never got it.

Good Afternoon ,

I hope you are doing well and enjoying this weather!

I wanted to thank you for renewing your Rangers’ season tickets for 2018-2019 – we have high hopes and are thrilled to have you back!

As you know, MSG is not just home to the Rangers, but also the New York Knicks. If you have ever considered getting on board with the Knicks, there is no better time!

With a solid management team in place, a high draft pick and a great young core, there is a lot to be excited about!

We are currently accepting deposits, which will give you priority over the general public when it comes time to select seats later this summer.

The best seats will go quick, so contact me today to secure your spot for next season!

Best,

they're apparently rolling out updates on their system. nyrsubcentral.com has been replaced with nyrmembership.com, same with knicks nyk. Knicks ticket site was down past 3 days, now it's back up and you have to agree to new terms to enter, I cannot log into nykmembership so it looks like they haven't linked passwords yet. Today the Rangers ticket site is down

If what Mkdaman1818 wrote is true, they must have gone into full panic mode

Pretty much every team in the league refers to their STH as members. The Knicks and Rangers only switched over to it recently. Can anyone explain why, other than saying 'legal reasons?'

Also, anything new and interesting in the Knicks T&C?

The "legal reason" is framing the relationship as a contractual agreement as opposed to selling someone tickets. They want to control what you do with those tickets so making it a "membership" gives them cover to revoke your tickets or steer you where they want for resales. It doesn't do anything in New York State but they could always change with new laws

I believe pro soccer clubs in Europe refer to their STH's as members. My co-worker is originally from North London, all of her family are "Arsenal supporters" and she mentioned once that her brother is "a member".

Hey guys - wanted to get your opinion on relocation. I am in Section 208 Row 15, Seats 11 and 12. My view is awesome, and I obviously have a great value being right on the price break. Also, seat #11 is actually right next to a concrete wall - so you never have anyone next to you - plus, you can stand and lean against the wall. It's pretty sweet! As an added bonus, my price is only $69 which is pretty phenomenal compared to what I'm reading in this thread.

Here's my problem. MSG has blocked off all the rows in front and around me for group sales - which is leading to a crazy amount of away fans sitting there. One game against the Bruins, I was literally surrounded and it was very uncomfortable. Not only that, but the section itself is as quiet as a library. So my question is, do you think this is because I'm on the "defend twice" side? Those of you that are on the other end of the ice, do you have similar problems with away fans or is it just my section? Are other sections more rowdy?

I love my seats and my price point, but I wouldn't mind paying a little more if it means I can be next to other season ticket holders/ranger fans.
