Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what is the cheapest ticket that gets you access to the delta club with free food

Only 3 sections give you access to the Delta Club - Event Level Suites, Rinkside Glass, and Delta Platinum. The Platinum's are the "cheapest", the lowest full season face on those are around $460. In practice you can usually score a pair for $300-ish for non-premium games and early in the season you can find them for $200-ish and sometimes less. Couple years ago you would be able to find some for like $90 at puck drop but those days are long gone.

Best way to score some free Delta's is to call you rep before a preseason game and ask for an upgrade

Yea I've been upgraded a couple of times during the regular season in those seats basically a row behind where Dolan sits..was wondering if it was worth it to try to upgrade there with my tickets going up so much but those prices are crazy was thinking maybe around 250.00 would get you in

So is it safe to assume that 209, 213, 222, and 226 are the new Upper Corner sections, with those NOT Center Ice being the GOAL (i.e. - 214-221 on the Eighth Ave end) sections?

It would appear there are eight Corner Sections in the lower bowl as compared to only four in the upper.

Cheers!

That's also how I read it based on reports here .

If anyone has photoshop skills we are desperately in need of a high res MSG map with section mapping :)

I would think the Rangers are pushing hard to get the Winter Classic announced well ahead of 3/28 so they put the hard sell on season ticket renewals, especially the half planners.

I can't remember, did the Stadium Series have an allotment for Yankees season ticket holders? They had plenty for Rangers, Islanders, & Devils STHs. Wondering if Mets STHs will get offered anything

Yankees STH got offered if I remember correctly. Hoping my 20 game plan gets me something with the Mets.

I'm sure they'll try. But anyone who was a subscriber 3 years ago won't be compelled to renew because of it. I'm glad I attended, but next time I won't be buying tickets ahead of time at inflated prices, assuming I choose to go again.

the market will not be like it was for the stadium series again. - 1 game, less seats and winter classics have held up ALOT better than stadium series games.

The Stadium series game against the Islanders had thousands of extra tickets because the Islanders and Rangers each were allotted 20 thousand tickets and the Rangers easily sold all of theirs while the Islanders had trouble selling 10 thousand forcing the team to flood the market within the last 10 days at under face value. The Devils at least sold most of their tickets and didn't release them like the Islanders did. The cold weather at night didn't help sell any last minute tickets either.

And the Sabres are going to get 20,000 or even 10,000 people to buy tickets and travel to Queens on New Year's Day? lol Prices were in the toilet way before game day. I had a couple pairs of tickets and was lucky to sell one pair for face. But at least the game was a good time (saw the beat down vs. NJ) although my toes were frozen. I'll take my chances this time that I can't find a cheap pair out of 45,000 tickets.

The Islanders ticketing staff was desperately calling and visiting every ice, roller, and street hockey organizations in Nassau & Suffolk the day before the game trying to GIVE away thousands of unsold tickets lol. The problem with having the Islanders host a big game is that their fans are very very cheap. Buffalo fans won't travel as well and they won't be real big spenders either but Citi Field is a small stadium venue and you only have 1 hyped up game so I would expect demand to be strong. If I can be in NYC on 1/1 I am definitely going to be there

Sabres fans or not. The Rangers should be able to fill Citi on their own. If the Isles game was not on a weeknight, it would have done better. Secondly, it was also freezing that week, even for NY standards, which turned away the last minute buyers. The NHL also banked on the Super Bowl crowd buying up some tickets, without realizing the Super Bowl crowd generally doesn't start arriving until Thursday afternoon/evening.

Sabres fans travel pretty well, Citi Field is smaller than Yankee Stadium, there is one game instead of two, it's on a holiday.....I don't think there are going to be cheap seats available unless it's really cold or it snows.

Based upon a conversation I had with my rep I'm Confirming that next year's' season tickets will have different face values depending upon the game. Hopefully preseason will have a face value of no more than 50% of average face value price. So the prices we were all told for next year's seats are just the average price per ticket.

If true, that's a huge WOW.

As both a Mets and Rangers 1/2 holder I better get some.
