You can never have too many defensive prospects.

This team has certainly felt like it’s had a better percentage success developing blue liners over forwards for sure over the last fifteen years.

We’ve made a lot of first and second pairing defensemen, and the best forward we developed was Kreider

I'll say this for Kravtsov, at least he knows how to take a shot immediately instead of double clutching it.

Sometimes it's better to just fire it without aiming than it is to take your time to pick a corner and let the defenders and goalie get set.
My biggest Krieder Kriticism. The time it takes him to shoot after receiving a pass can be measured with a sundial! Amirite!!! But seriously, if he could shoot off the pass he’d have 10 more goals a season.

This isn't accurate. The Rangers have not sent him down, and there's no chance that they want him in that locker room either. He might get assigned to Hartford on paper, but he will never play there.
They should just assign him to the sun and call it a day.

Has Miller been asked if he's planning on keeping that number?
Jersey $$$ depends on it
i like it, wanna see him smooshing McDavid into the glass, with their numbers like mirror images

He told me he likes no 79 because it's unorthodox. He had a chance to switch but decided to stick with it

When can we bring him over? Kakko needs a Finnish buddy to help him break out of his shell.

not that Paju will be with NYR over HWP,if both still active when his season ends, but per EliteProspects, both he and Lundkvist contracts expire this spring. Invites to Worlds could delay arrival.

And with the NHL reg season not ending before the WC, both Lundkvist and Pajuniemi have a chance to make the team

Not like we are lacking LW depth anyway. No need to rush Pajuniemi over. Would have been great to bring Lundkvist over given the circumstances, but probably better to not burn a year of the ELC for him to play a couple games anyway.

It depends. What will the Rangers situation be like in June? Will Lundkvist use it as leverage? Will the Rangers consider him an integral part to the current season?

It depends on whether or not we are in a position to make the play offs (spoiler: We won't  )

If Pajuniemi has NHL aspirations then he should be coming over after his Euro season is over. He's been excelling overseas for two years now and if this is the general guideline - then he passed it.

Hughes with a PPG. He's #19 lining up on the right hash. He also has an assist, through two periods.

His line last year was 1-3-4 in 34. This year he's up to 5-2-7 in 12.

He looks to have grown quite a bit since the draft.
