Berard, who models himself after Marchand. Add Skinner.

Not at all sold Pajuniemi will be able to do what he does in Liiga, in North America.

Meh, I don't think we're there yet.

If we traded Berard for any other guy that is left, I would be upset.

It is fairly subjective, but I think I'm about 7 prospects away from guys mostly being interchangeable.
I look at who we're choosing from and who is still on the board and I see 5 or so guys that I'm pretty confident will play in the NHL. And several others who have realistic chances of doing so. That's not insignificant.

When we get to the tier with Newell, Crawley, Lindbom, Ronning, etc., that's when you're just throwing shit at the wall and hoping something sticks. But that's several rounds away.

Went Khodorenko. Surprised he isn’t getting more attention. This kid had 1st round projection during his draft year but fell off due to injuries. Has been doing so much since then at the NCAA level. Just really seems like he has a legit chance to be an NHL center. Ceiling is likely a 3C. Good size and talent. People have Barron at #9, but I think the vibe around Khodorenko with his overall game and progression at the NCAA level is very similar to Barron tbh. And you have people ready to pencil Barron into the lineup.

I have always said I have Khodorenko and Barron on the same level, same chances to make the NHL. What Khodorenko did with MSU was very impressive.
