Starting this round I lowered the choices to 5 so votes wouldn't be thrown to players who aren't in the majority, plus votes seem to start going all over the place after we hit the teens, so with less choices the better.

Next round Justin Richards will be RE-ADDED to the poll as he was already voted in to be in the choices.

Cuylle looked pretty good in his limited AHL time. He looks pro ready at least in the AHL, maybe he surprises and makes the team. Milan Lucic did that and he is the same type of player. Both physical wingers with skill. Lucic had skill in his prime.

Da Big Apple
went Berard but Cuylie makes a good case
B has more star potential
C possibly more to offer overall

agree B is real deal, C looks good

Gauthier over Berard is number one bullshit
Think the 5th rounder from the 2020 draft needs to prove himself a bit more before I give him a nod over at the very least, a fringe NHLer (who also wasn't given much leash to prove himself last season).

And I am excited about Berard, I just need to see him play a full season in the NCAA and hopefully have another good showing at the WJC with more ice.

I just feel like, at this point, Gauthier is a 4th liner if he puts everything together, so I'm going with ceiling.

Fair enough, I can see arguments from both ends. I think Gautheir has a higher ceiling but is unlikely to hit... I feel Berard has probably a ceiling of a 3rd line player, assuming everything clicks, but also has a lot of obstacles in his way to get there, i think he has an ok chance to be a 4th line energy player.

Yeah for sure.

I just like the phrase "number one bullshit."

Going Berard. Next is probably Cuylle.

had Berard rated over Cuylle at the draft and no reason to change my mind now.
