Wow--some people are really upset about this. The Rangers are a non-playoff team playing against the top team in their division in their own barn mind you and they nearly beat them with 4 of their 6 defensemen who have spent the better part of the year in the AHL + an 18 year old and a 19 year old rookies playing in their first NHL games and we got about 40 shots on their goalie and outplayed them for a good portion of the game and we really don't need the f***ing points in the standings anyway.

I think the Caps were pretty much shitting themselves in the last few minutes but okay they managed to pull it off with some help from the on ice officials.

All this outrage here is just a f***ing hoot as far as I'm concerned. Pissed at a 22 year old who had a whale of a game up to the point he screwed up on the tying goal. I mean get f***ing real.
