@Ogrezilla @HandshakeLin @Big McLargehuge continue here I guess.

Opening my staircase wall, since it is a load bearing wall, would cost me about $5.5k. Instead, I'm thinking up some alternatives.

Leaving the studs in seems to be the way to go, but I will need to come up with a way to make it look nicer.

I don't know what you're questioning, the answer is so obvious: take pictures of the room on the other side and put them up right there. Nobody will ever know the difference.

Drinking picked a really bad time to become boring to me, because I don't really have much to do at this point without drinking and sports

Or maybe I just have to switch to shots, shots went really well the last time I took some shots.

I like what you've done with it. Blue's a nice accent.

You should just leave it like that and tell people it's this new modernist architectural spatial art piece.

Such a quitter attitude mate. Take your shots and chase it with shots. You wanker.

So I got bored and needed hockey, unfortunately the need ended up being NHL2020 - Absolute garbage of a game.

I'm the Pens, I basically did 1 major trade before I got started.

Bjugstad + JJ for Wood.

Then I simmed until the Sabres/Caps back 2 back before TDL when I made the moves of Gaudette + Virtanen for ZAR and a 1st in 2024 + Bellerive. Then I moved Schultz + 2nd in 2023 for DeAngelo...

My lines are fun - McCann had a sprained MCL, so that wanker is out until end of March.
Guentzel, Crosby, Gaudette - This line is money.
Zucker, Malkin, Virtanen (Hornqvist is injured - But he's put up 48pts in 61 games) - For some reason, this line is a +3 for chemistry...but when I put Jake there, it's +1 and Sid's goes from +1 to 0...the game doesn't like Sid & Zuck.
Marleau, Blueger, Rust - Probably my best line right now in terms of always creating chances.
Wood, Simon, Tanev - This line disgusts me, mostly because Simon is actually very good as the 4C there.

Defense is where it gets fun...

Pettersson, Marino - Yeah this is my top pair, they're a +3 for chemistry, Pettersson is good for poking pucks, but dude gives up the puck so f***ing much, Marino is a god damned monster in this game, it's pure porn just using him in this game, in the game vs the Caps (a low scoring 11-4 victory, Murray with the W), Marino went to hit Ovechkin and knocked both Ovechkin and Kuznetsov down and then passed the puck up to Rust who wired it top corner coming down the right side, on Goaltby.
Dumoulin, DeAngelo - They are a +5 for chemistry, low key awesome.
Riikola, Letang - Yeah, Tanger is on my 3rd pair, but they are a +1 for chemistry and Riikola is gained a ton of confidence in this pair, really awesome.

Also gross, Letang got hurt for 30 games (lol), so I had Trotman up because...our depth on RD blows and Ruhwedel is even worse, but Trotman had a statline of 25 games 3goals 8assists and +15...yeah...somewhere, Sully has a boner so massive, Viagra is jealous.

Jarry has the better stats, in the western swing during our real life losing streak, in the game vs the Ducks, I had simmed the first period, THE f***ING DUCKS HAD 40 shots in the first period...jesus christ. I won that game 6-2, Jarry had a 64 save performance. He was easier to sign, still trying to get Murray to bite on a 5.5m/yr deal for 5yrs, Jarry signed 5yrs at 4.5m.

Then I gave up and got bored.

@BlindWillyMcHurt and @pixiesfanyo and other music making nerds here, anyone have any experience with the new MOTU budget interfaces? My old Focusrite kicked the bucket, and since I can still get things delivered here, I was thinking of picking up an M4 to work on some stuff while I'm in quarantine. Any word on the quality of those compared to the usual suspects like Focusrite Scarlets or Presonus?

@Randy Butternubs remember when you mentioned the couch you purchased recently, how do you like it so far? Is it firm or soft? If I get this stimulus package, I'm probably going to use it to buy that couch if it's a good couch.

It does its job. Firm but not rock hard. Slept on it once and had no issues. My only minor, MINOR complaint, for now, is that the cushions aren't always level with each other. But that's to be expected when I only sit on one portion of it. I'm the only one to have been on it so I don't know what other people think of it. They think it looks good though.

Since WV confirmed their first Rona case last night and it was only a matter of time before restaurants closed, I took my monitor from the trailer. And set up a temporary workstation at my house.

Yeah I read reviews which gave it pretty poor scores in terms of comfort, but it does look really good. That's disappointing to see, for that price I'd want something really comfortable and nice.

The blue seat with brown legs looks absolutely great, but I'd rather shop elsewhere for that price if it's not super comfy.

I have personally never used one myself so I'm of limited help but I cannot seem to find a bad word said about them so, at least so far as their more basic 1-8 input models are concerned, I would be surprised if there is a measurable difference in quality between them and the usual suspects you listed.

Word. Price seems about the same as Focusrite, so I'm willing to take a chance on it, I guess.

yeah comfort is priority 1, 2, and 3 for anything like a couch.
