Yes it is true. Verbal Commitment for the fall of 2006, so it is as true as it can be without him signing an NLI.

"I'm really excited," says the affable Rakhshani, who'll play one more
season in Ann Arbor before reporting to the Pioneers in the fall of 2006. "I
took an unofficial visit there, and it just felt very comfortable. The city,
the campus, the coaching staff. Sure they've won it twice in a row, but
honestly that wasn't the biggest part of it."

Denver first got interested in the right-shooting Rakhshani last summer when
he played at the US Select 16 Festival. From there, the two parties did all
they could to keep in close contact. Rakhshani also considered Colorado
College, Wisconsin, Michigan and Michigan State.

    Speaking of DU recruits....

and I posted this over on the AJHL thread as well.

Matt Glasser of Fort McMurray has also committed to DU for '06. Any of you folks in Alberta have the skinny on him?

Wow. I grew up playing with Matt Glasser, and his little brother John. John was just as good if not better, but had bad lucky with a degenerative disease.

    Good luck Matt!
