Maybe they will try for a Boston affiliation Worcester Railers owner Cliff Rucker keeps things in perspective, looking ahead to next season
Bruins Announce Second Annual Summer Fan Fest TourBruins haven’t really ever had interest in Worcester. And while this season was rough going with their affiliates in Bridgeport and Long Island, I agree with 210 that it is and will be a better relationship than the Bruins will ever offer.

Notice a large New England city missing
During Worcester's AHL Tenure there where games where the DCU center seats where full of black and gold jerseys when the p-bruins where the away team.It would help with marketing and promotions if Worcester had the bruins name and affiliation. But i agree the on ice product fit is not great. The GladiatorsWorcester is pretty much just a really big Boston suburb from Boston’s point of view. Getting the WooSox might help change that. But, it’ll need to find its role. But the big population nearby city is Providence, the solidified edge of market territory is Springfield, Manchester, and Portland. Burlington for all intents and purposes from the minds of New Englanders might as well be a foreign country that has Ben and Jerry’s and Bernie Sanders with nothing else to offer. Hartford is pretty much annexed NYC territory, not sure why they’d go there. Weymouth is for the rich south shore people.
