Still not worried. Ronaldo will bring us back to the game.

That goatee looks a little like a sack on Ronaldo.

Did you know that someone once said of Gerd Muller, 'All he does is hang about the penalty area and score goals?'

Not that Cavani doesn't do a lot more than that anyway, but his ability to get on the end of other people's passes is proving, ahem, a bit important.

    And I cursed Portugal. Sorry.

Nothing by Cavani + nothing by Cavani = 2 goals for Uruguay.

Nice goal by Cavani. Where is @Seph ?

Uruguay need to stay composed. A lot of time left.

Portugal scoring from open play seems like a distinctly academic possibility.

Of course, the irony of that Uruguayan goal is that it was a marvelous finish but really they were just hoofing it up field hoping for the best. A Pep Guardiola side may have opted to decline that goal.

If you had told me Quaresma would be in a World Cup at this age, I would have been shocked.

First Thauvin, now Christian Stuani, ex of Middlesbrough?

I might almost have thought this was the World Plate.
