Same here. But you know this fear is just superstition. It's all different teams despite carrying the same name.

True. I just saw too many games like that in this competition. It's good to have a Schweini type on the pitch. Or like Eilts in 96 .

Yes, but will that work against stronger teams? I'd like to have a midfield achor against the likes of Spain or France and probably Italy as well.

Honestly, it's a risk but it might work. None of the teams have really convinced me yet.

Me neither, but those teams will keep the ball a lot better than Slovakia did.

While Germany largely dominated this one, they really didn't create a lot of great chances. In fact the goals were somewhat fortuitous if you look at the first and third goals. On top of that they never looked in top gear. Ozil and Muller in particular still need to elevate their game. Muller has looked quite poor and Podolski was more of a spark in the limited time he was on. On the flip side Boateng and Hummels were again an excellent pairing. Gomez starting definitely makes a difference and his presence helps create space for other players. He also put in the defensive work as well. Overall though still room for improvement primarily in the offensive third.

Again, ability vs performance. He's not put in the performances to deserve the tag despite having the ability. Funny this being posted during this match as well.

Absolutely and I noted this watching the match as well.

Yep, nothing there. A foul was unfair and a yellow even worse. Hopefully it doesn't make a difference going forward.
