Germany can absolutely not leave the midfield open like that against Spain. Way too easy to spin and gain tons of space.
They have become a bit complacent as Slovakia simply don't have much, facing Spain should be a great test for them.

Muller is playing very poorly.

Hector is also camped miles up the pitch.

These are all things Del Bosque will be well aware of. Of course if Spain doesn't win that then I don't think Germany are in any real danger.

Exactly, need a healthy Schweinsteiger or someone in midfield. Khedira played well alongside Schweini but he adds nothing by himself going forward and he's not strong enough defensively to justify keeping in the side for me. He's just established and proven so hard to take out.
