France are obviously much better rested, and more talented in general even though they haven't played like it.

Would be peotic justice for Ireland to eliminate France IN FRANCE!

That being said, as a France supporter, I hope they win.

And I'll remind everyone before it gets dirty that Ireland was never virtually qualified during that game before the handball. Doesn't make the handball right, but doesn't make Ireland through without it.

Hoping for Ireland but realistically I see France winning this match, it won't be easy for them though, it will be similar set up France saw in the group stage, aggressive team putting all 11 behind the ball but the Irish at least have a capable striker unlike Romania and Albania for example so their defense might have difficulties with the long ball

Think the Irish will score but France win something like 2:1

Logic says France wins easily, but I could see it being a tight, anxious game.

If France finish their chances early (and they'll have them), it could be over quickly. But if they don't, and it's tied in the 60/70th minute, there's going to be a ton of anxiety in that stadium. Ireland have nothing to lose, and they know it.

    COYBIG

What I would pay to be in Lyon for the next few days. Gonna be some fun.

Dimitri Payet scores in the 89th minute to seal this for France, 1-0.

What could prevent a French win? Right , nothing. I want to see finally a good football game at this euros. But have my doubts. Easy France win.
