Quinney has been a good enough player in the A to warrant a re-sign without any mention of his place of birth.

I meant more if they thought he could have an NHL future. We've got prospects now we want to have AHL ice time so we probably have to be pickier about this now.

Duke was the first signed player, but is he ever an NHL player so would re-sign him?

Quinney's waiver status (doesn't have to pass through to go to the AHL next season) makes him very attractive for depth.

Plus he's always looked good in camp.
