Depends on how well they do. Their season can end as early as say around March 21st, last few days in March, or all the way to April 14.

Michigan lost their number one center Josh Norris for the season. They're bad. Will Lockwood's their best forward, which isn't a knock. I don't think they'll be playing late at all, and I've seen others say the same.

Anything can happen in the Big 10 tournament.

Michigan hasnt looked out of place vs Penn State Ohio state and Minny even without Norris. They split the weekend series with all 3 high ranked teams.

Would you guys rather Hughes or Makar? :sarcasm:Makar vs Hughes

I'll take Hughes. Primarily because we have to judge them against the same year in progression. What Makar is doing now is something we won't see Hughes ever do because he'll be in the NHL in his D+2 season.

@Melvin can you link your source for Hughes' height from nhl.com. I'm conversing with the admin for Edit: HockeyDB. He wants to see the source for the 5'9" ranking. Thanks.

Finishes with 1 primary assist in a michigan 5-3 win over Michigan State. He was all over the ice tnt.

26 pts in 24 games as a Sophmore. Just sublime !

With that, he's up to 8 primary assists on the season.

That’s obviously... not good. Different league, but Bouchard is at 9 primary assists in 26 games and Boqvist is at 10 primary assists in 36 games.

Doesn’t seem to be that stark a separation.

he's in elite company for D+1 season in college. He should actually have 28 points in 24 games, but NCAA didn't count his OT points.

If the Avs end up drafting Jack, that’s the type of deal the Canucks would need in order for the Avs to unite the Hughes brothers.
That would be a base for sure but considering that's a deal the Lanche ask for we need to get them to add. They would need to over pay otherwise I'd be happy to keep Hughes.

29 points in 25 games, 1.16 PPG in his d+1 season. Hughes is quietly putting up an ELITE season in college.

Well, he's surpassed the Werenski bar IMO.

Werenski also struggles defensively, and has put up 47 and 37 points in his first 2 NHL seasons.

A good comparable, I think.
