Last night at rec league my 5k Skates broke, and I am done with those pieces of junk. The blade fell off the skate, and the skates are in terrible condition. Anyways, I have Midget hockey tonight and need skates before then. Anyone have any recommendations?

Try to keep recommendations under $500, and as light and durable as possible.

So far I am considering:
Bauer Supreme One 80's
Maybe Bauer Vapor 6.0's
CCM U+ Crazy Lights (2010)

Are the Easton EQ 50's nice?
I'll check this thread right after work praying for some answers.

You need to get fitted properly. $500 skates that don't fit will completely ruin your skating ability.

This is the FINAL ANSWER :yo:

Seriously, if you're pressed for time, SKIP YOUR GAME and get skates properly fitted. Just going into a shop and buying a pair in your size is a recipe for disaster.
