Sorry if this shouldn't be posted here but I'm wondering if July 1 comes and Stamkos is not signed by TB and 4 or 5 teams put in offer sheets, all different values, is it his (Stamkos) decision to decide what OS to take?

This is an interesting question
my bet would be he can take what ever offer he wants just like if he is UFA... just that TB can match it if they want

Yes, he can pick and choose one (or none) of the offer sheets.

Realize that when Hjalmarson (Chicago) was not signed by 7/1 (and didn't go into arbitration), a number of teams tendered offer sheets to his agent. The one he chose to sign was the offer sheet from San Jose. It could be there were others that offered more money, but the location/team/organization also played into his decision.

It's possible that the guy wants to say with his current organization and almost no offer sheet would tempt him to potentially play elsewhere.
