He's been playing wing with Ruutu until 4 games ago when he was moved to center.
The book is out whether he can be a center or not at the NHL level. He has steadily progressed with the defensive aspects of the game, so he is not the defensive liability he was when he entered the League. But his size, speed and faceoff ability don't favor his outlook as center at the NHL level.
Plus, we have Zac Dalpe, who is looking like Eric Staal-lite in the minors and Brandon Sutter already playing on the team, so we look fine at center.
(If Dalpe busts, we are soooooooooooooooo screwed)
