Is it true that his skating is very questionable? I've seen this pop up a couple of times and one of the reason's he wasn't chosen for the U-20 games last year...
His skating isn't exactly his strong point but he's no Alexander Picard by any means. His skating is un-spectacular but it gets the job done. IMO he didn't make the U20 because he just plain wasn't good/strong enough.
All rightie, I know the Wild have been taking chances on guys that aren't great skaters (see Voloshenko this year) and I was wondering what was hindering Courchaine from being picked earlier other than this size
