just wondering, with the new CBA, i know there's a provision for european players to be signed by a certain time, or they are considered UFAs. can someone explain this a bit - i'm basically trying to figure out if sergei zinovjev will become a UFA after this season. thanks.
he did sign a contract with boston already, and the b's qualified him this year. does that change anything?
