Guys, have not posted in a while and thought this might be something you would enjoy. I have a Dry-Age fridge from the company The SteakAger I just loaded up this morning. Will dry-age one of these guys to 35 days, then the other to 65-70 days. We then trim, cut up into Steaks and freeze.
When we have company, we’ll usually grill a Fresh one, a 45 day and a 70 day, then slice thin for sampling.
DryAging has an incredible effect on beef, which is why the older it’s dry-aged, the more expensive in restaurants.
Thought you might enjoy

Had a can of spam and a gingerale for lunch.

I feel nauseous now.

This comment is why I could never figure out why people read most social media, namely twitter, facebook, etc. heh

A can of spam. Downing a large bag of skittles. Your stomach is rebelling.

ps spoiler;

this thread is bad for anybodies covid diet plan. Ya'll be stress eating and reading and looking at food porn too much. ;)

Took a huge gamble eating at a golden corral tonight in Maryland. Last time I ate at a golden corral was the winter of 2009. The results were almost disastrous as I was hitting up every gas station along interstate 8 for 3 hrs paying the price. But if I leave this place tonight with enough rolaids in pez dispensers I might survive a night of driving

Carne Asada Beef Taco night. The wife found some great fresh corn tortilla that just needed to be on the skillet for a few minutes. Almost everything (except for the pepper and avocado) came from our garden.

I had chili from a can. But I put cheese on it and some red pepper flakes so it was almost as good as what this looks like. I would have photographed it but I ran out of film.

Anyone try making egg bites in an Instant Pot? Made some basic ones tonight and they were pretty bland.

So a new recipe, we sliced up potatoes from the garden, soaked them in buttermilk with thyme, rosemary and garlic, then dredged through A Fluor/pepper/cayenne and in the deep fryer. Recipe was Country Fried Potatoes (mimicking fried chicken). Hit it wit the Kosher Salt and a dip. Extremely bad for you, extremely addicting.
