a) 1939 or earlier - Haynes, Skinner, Prodger, Gerard (4)
b) 1940-1965 - Babich, Peters, Buller, Gardiner (4)
c) 1966-1979 - Payne, Nilsson, Apps, Johnston, Paladiev (5)
d) 1980-1989 - Skrudland, Probert, Wesley, Brown, Krushelnyski (5)
e) 1990-1999 - Amonte, Kozlov, Rolston, Svehla (4)
f) in 2009 - Kozlov, Rolston, Regehr, Kiprusoff (4)
And the award for the most all-time team in the draft goes to.... The Regina Capitals!
This did NOT happen deliberately at all. In fact, We didn't even think about the quota once. I knew we would hit it without trying, but I couldn't have imagined how balanced we would turn out to be.
Another team we are very proud of. Good luck to all.
Why have playoffs? The winner of the MLD should be announced after ATD11 drafting is completed, then we know what the GMs really think of the MLD picks. The best team should be the one who had the most players "called up" to the main draft. Just babbling, though... we look forward to the playoffs. But you gotta admit that makes some sense.
