Does anyone know the date that qualifying offers are due? I know dates were pushed back due to the lockout but I can't seem to find it anywhere for 2013.

RFA's,

Yannick Weber
Ryan White
Dustin Tokarski
Mike Blunden
Gabriel Dumont
Robert Mayer
Blake Geoffrion

I suppose Geoffrion and Schultz won't be qualified. It looks like Mayer will stay with the Bulldogs and Stejskal might be back depending on how MB and Lefebvre feeln about their defense in the AHL going forward.

I assume Weber, White, Tokarski, Blunden and Dumont all get qualified.
Geoffrion they might qualify as a courtesy to him.
Apparently they want to tender a QO to Mayer, why? I don't know.
Schultz and Stejskal should be gone.

From Wikipedia... I don't know how accurate it is

Restricted (Group 2) NHL free agents can discuss new contracts with other teams beginning on the day after that season's entry draft, which is also the deadline for a team to make a qualifying offer.

From the new CBA

In order to receive a Right of First Refusal or Draft Choice Compensation
(at the Prior Club's option) with respect to a Restricted Free Agent, the
Prior Club of a Restricted Free Agent must tender to the Player, no later
than 5:00 p.m. New York time on the later of June 25 or the first Monday
after the Entry Draft
of the final year of the Player's SPC, a "Qualifying
Offer", which shall be an offer of an SPC, for one League Year, which is
subject to salary arbitration if such Player is otherwise eligible for salary
arbitration

generally its 2 days following the entry draft day
should be July 2nd

I thought it was 2 days after the draft but with the draft being on a Sunday for the first time, wasn't sure if this would change things as it's usually the Monday after the draft but for some reason I can't find it anywhere on the web for 2013.

Since the CBA says the first Monday after the draft and doesn't say anything about 2 days after the draft, I am guessing it would be Monday, July 1st for qualifying offers.
