Teams need to balance their Euros out. Only allowed 2 Import players.

Same reason why Makarov hasn't gone yet.

  6. Don't they only get him for one year too?

Damn I was hoping Gatineau could land him. He went to the Remparts!

    Kabanov goes to Montreal.
With Hertzberg unlikely to come back, this move makes sense for the Junior.

I figured Halifax would take the 1st rd pick if it was available.

I'll be surprised if Halifax is not involved in some sort of deal tomorrow. Maybe not for the #1 but lots of possibilities

2 1sts & Luca Ciampini would be a start to acquire Mackinnon.

What good are first round draft picks to Baie Comeau if they decide they want to play elsewhere anyways! :|

A king's ransom of players and prospects that do want to play there that can turn BC into a legitimate contender?

i was just being sarcastic. It`s always ****** for a small market organization when good players decide that they will only play for certain teams. You don`t always get full value when you give a player of that status away.

Mackinnon would mean visibility and excellent attendance. And wins.

I hope that if they do decide to trade him, that they`ll get a ''king's ransom'' as you say.

Getting a player of that caliber would help boost that organization. His being a ****** and choosing where to play is not right. He can go play in another league, i really hope they don`t trade him to make a point. Sure, they could get stuff in return, but as i said, what good are 1st rounders if when you draft good players, they don`t want to play for you?
