That’s alotta names! Although I’m gonna have to say Leo Loof is probably the next Jett Woo with like God tier names, so to put him at 126th, idk if I can be okay with that so I give this list a 6/10.

good list my friend *thumbs up emoji* I give list 10/10, but don’t tell nobody that I did, I made the text small so only you could read it and no one else.

Curious to hear your thoughts on Drysdale, Chromiak and Gunler

this year is really interesting. majority of the lists I'v seen are all over the place. I'm having a hard time figuring out what 20-40 would look like.

Covered Gunler in the January ranking. Thoughts remain the same (minus Perfetti jumping him):

QJL 2020 Draft Top 150 Rankings (January)

You challenged my Chromiak first round ranking in my November list thread, but the detail I have was more about his prior season and lack of playing time in Slovakia. Since he’s come over he’s proven his skill is through the roof. People have been going nuts over Wright’s numbers but Chromiak is a big reason he’s upped his pace and is tracking toward the most successful exceptional season ever. Chromiak can really do it all offensively but he’s got consistency issues. I think he has top 10 raw talent, but hasn’t shown the same motor as the scoring machines ranked ahead of him. I’ve had Chromiak as a 1st round projection since last season and he’s giving me no reason to change that.

Drysdale is the clear top defenseman in the draft but I don’t see the upside with him that we’ve seen burst on to the scene with players like Makar and Hughes. His skating is already world class and he’s an incredible breakout player. The forwards in this draft make up the best group we’ve seen since 2015 and for Drysdale to jump names in that group, he would’ve needed to show a production jump in the Byram realm. His playmaking is right there, but he hasn’t scored goals at the pace of many predecessor top 10 offensive D picks. His shot needs work. He also relies on his legs defensively and that won’t be as effective in the NHL. He needs to develop his game positionally and physically.

Though not realistic IMO, I would absolutely love for the draft to play out that way.

If the standings stayed the same and I had my pick at who's left at each spot.

    3. Quinton Byfield (Sens 1st)
    6. Cole Perfetti (Sharks 1st)
    34. Kaiden Guhle (Sens 2nd)
    54. Jack Quinn (Columbus 2nd)
    57. Seth Jarvis (Dallas 2nd)
    66. William Villeneuve (Sens 3rd)

Would be quite the haul for the sens. A man can dream.
