No Nick Robertson?

It’s a weak year in the OHL and ppg from a 5’9 player isn’t as much of an accomplishment as it would’ve been in years past. Undersized forwards can definitely be studs in the NHL these days but typically their production is exceptional going into draft years. Robertson is a mid-round pick in my opinion right now. Solid skill forward who has shown a knack for scoring tough goals this year, but I’d want to see more before taking a risk in the first 3 rounds.

I can tell you go solely off of stats if you think Nick Robertson is a 'mid round prospect'. If you're going just off of PPG, you won't have near accurate results.

I mentioned a few other things, did I not?

You spoke in generalities. You can easily deduct that he has 'solid skill' and scores 'tough goals' by looking at his stats.

For a little guy, he goes to the front of the net. Not a perimeter player. Reminds me of Ty Ronning in his later WHL years.

Thanks for making the internet enjoyable. I’ll make sure to write a few paragraphs for every player in March with all my free time.

Any reasoning dropping Kakko to third? I think he is estimated to be closer to first than 3rd and his production seems to be getting higher as year goes on latest game being a hattrick vs 4th best team in the liiga

I would not mind the Draft going that way, Anaheim getting Cozens at 6th overall would be a steal.
We get our heir replacement for Getzlaf.

I built this list before the hat trick and 2 goal performance. I have them neck and neck (and neck with Hughes).

I’m just in love with Dach’s poise, vision, puck control, and overall raw talent. Kaapo is a better and more complete player at this age but I really believe Dach is going to turn into a Jack Eichel type. He’s also been playing through some injury and has missed a few games because of it. I’ll continue to rank him higher than his production expresses.
