Detroit forward Teemu Pulkkinen has been suspended for four preseason games for boarding Chicago defenseman Michael Kostka during a preseason game in Chicago on Tuesday, September 17, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

I am a little surprised Erne got three and Pulks got four, actually thought it would basically flip flop in terms of the punishment for those two in the games they got. But this is a stupid hit and he deserves to be shelved for a little while.
