Hopefully Drai draws into this one. He’s always been a slow starter so getting him some games now is probably a good idea.

Cool. Like what I'm seeing. If only for an attempt and to show what he got. Neals best game (and Neal was good last night to his credit) occurred with Nuge and Gagner who are good to get guys going and offer a lot of puck moving support to a guy that can finish.

Its a plus for me that Nuge+Gagner get another shot together and see what possible configs can occur.

Myself I think its obvious Nuge + Neal will be the pair and that Gagner will slide in and out of that third assignment with others. I'm a strong believer in pairs with rotating thirds. Same with our first line which to me is Drai-McD-whoever else alternately slots in.

Not saying a lot of the players cut today didn't deserve it(they did) but none of them really got an opportunity like that.

Funny thing was I was just talking about how they should ah Nygard with drasaitl and Kassian to simulate a (McDavid) speed player on the line. I think it will be a good line.
