I am interested to see how this line looks together. Hopefully they get a few games together in the NHL.

How do you think they will do now and in the future?
They are all young and I think will be our future 3rd line in 2 season.

What are your thoughts on these guys?

As long as harti keeps hitting, and if lander can work on his face offs, and if paajarvi starts to hit more then yes I think that'll be a good 3rd line with lander and paajarvi being good options on the PK.

No, and here's why. I still think Paajarvi will turn it around and become a second line winger. He's got all the tools, and I think he's going to put it together. I do think Hartikainen will be on the 3rd long term, and I really like Tobias Reider as a third line RW, so IMO those two are going to be your wingers. As for Lander, I think he could be a 3C, but could also end up being the 4C. It's possible they all end up as the third line, and I like them as a line; but to me ideally they maybe aren't.

Maybe one or at very best two of them, but not all three.

The Oilers really need a bigger face off specialist 2-way center on the third line and I'd like to see a big tough quality two-way RW. maybe the best player of the Nordic line can slot in as LW.

Need more offense, but in a short 2 game window they have had chances.

what the Oilers need to do is draft guys that can play the game but play tough too and i don't see enough of that from those 3, maybe Harti but only time to time. also don't see it in OKC. might have to wait and hope that one or two of Abney, Moroz or Kahira can play here down the road.

One of those 3 is not like the others.

Paajarvi is supposed to be a point getter not a grinder. True he needs to learn all aspects of the game but scoring goals is why he was drafted so high. This 3rd line crap is why his game is going under. Oil should have let him stay in Europe a couple of extra years so he could play point getting hockey, not grind 'em up hockey. His speed and skill will be wasted if he gets used to this low skill stuff they're teaching him, along with his confidence.

looks like he was using his speed and skill tonight to me ... and he looked pretty darn confident doing so....

Yeah MPS needs to keep playing like that. If he does he'll get a chance to play with our more skilled forwards to spoon feed him some goals. He just has to get his butt to the net.
