    - I'm using the place of birth as a guideline, but I make exception with Francis Bouillon, who played with Canada in international events, but I'm not using Paul Stastny, who's born in Quebec, but never played for Canada.

    Born in Vancouver!
That would be interesting trying to determine who could play where as I am sure Montador isn't the only player born in one province, but raised in another

Keith was born in Manitoba but considers his hometown Penticton, BC.
Cam Ward was born in Saskatchewan but considers his hometown Sherwood Park, AB.
Robyn Regehr was born in Brazil but considers Rosthern, SK his hometown
Tyler Myers was born in Houston but is a Calgary boy as far as Hockey Canada is concerned

and so on and so forth.

I'm sure there are more, but the easiest way to check is Hockey Canada if they've played at any level to see where they list their hometown.

For CHL drafts for the 3 leagues or for Jr A drafts the criteria is where the player played Bantam
