They are asking for a flat $20M in aid for pandemic relief due to being shut-down, basically? How does that compare to other entertainment business sectors in the province? It would take a fair bit of context to determine if it's even a fair ask to begin with. I don't see why fighting would be brought into it. Either they don't get aid, or they get a different amount commensurate with whatever the Quebec/Canadian government process is for businesses in that sector of with that level of revenue. Does Joe's Diner get less aid because they have high-cholesterol burgers and fries on the menu? There's not enough in that article to draw any kind of conclusions whatsoever.
