I know he's played more games but still it's encouraging that Wood, a defenseman and a huge one at that, is currently 10th overall in playoff scoring!

I wanted to draft Carlo last year. Hopefully this guy will fill that void. + Hardest shot!

No idea if Connor Clifton has a future with the Coyotes, but Quinnipiac takes on BC this afternoon (2 p.m. AZ Time on ESPN2).

Clifton does not score much, but nice assist on the first goal.

Quinnipiac wins it...quite the upset.

Denver vs Fighting Sioux starts now. Oh, I meant Fighting Hawks :naughty:

Another goal for Wood. He now has 12 points in 8 playoff games. Last year, he had 11 points in 15 playoff games. And Joe Sakic wasn't going to sign him :sarcasm:

So I'm guessing Wood will get a good look in camp next year, but probably be sentenced to Springfield?

He should be in a perfect position to take Z's minutes after learning the ropes in Springfield for a season. I really like our right side with Murphy, Stone and Wood.

Sour grapes?

They should have a decent team next year. :dunno:

I was a little disappointed when I first heard about the Boedker trade. This makes me feel a little better.

Niagara (4th seed) takes both games in Kingston (1st seed). Wow! Perlini had an assist tonight. Coming back to Niagara up 2-0 in the series.

Highlight & boxscore watching only:

Hat-trick for Dvorak as London takes game one 6-3 over Kitchener. Video: http://new.ontariohockeyleague.com/video/apr-816-gm1-kitchener-3-london-6
MacInnis with 3rd star and a nice backhanded goal from 0.40 on the highlights. Links with the Leafs organisation this year and in this game - Bracco (who played a beautiful backhanded pass for the goal) seems to have great chemistry with MacInnis, as well as the obvious Marner/Dvorak link on display again. Marner seems able to pick out Dvorak anywhere on the ice. Dvorak got his third on an empty net penalty (seem to remember Rick Nash breaking his duck against us this year in the same way).

Strome with the assist on the overtime winner as Erie beats SSM 3-2. http://new.ontariohockeyleague.com/video/apr-816-gm1-sault-ste-marie-2-erie-3-ot
Looked a fun game.

edit: oops, just regurgitated what BlazingBlueAnt wrote in the other thread, sorry.

Erie looked like a team that hadn't played in a week. Double or triple clutching every time they were 20 feet from goalie. Couldn't find a groove despite some great plays that led to fubleitis. Tied up in last 2 mins and then Strome sucked 3 defenders over before laying a pass to the trailer in the slot for winner 45 seconds into OT.

NCAA Championship starts in 10 minutes. Quinnipiac vs Fighting Sioux.

I'm pulling for Connor Clifton to bring home the Bobcats first title!

Forwards pay more attention in the NHL. Haha

He likes contact. Looks a bit like Ballard.

Niagara grabs the 3-0 strangehold on Kingston. Very impressive.

Perlini had a nice setup on the game winner. Also two other breakaways during the game but the puck bobbled both times.
