This is what I kept hoping we'd see from Veleno. It's great that he's getting a lot of touches and is carrying the puck because in GR his job was basically to pass the puck to Matt Ford in his own zone, or to dump it in at the blueline.

Frolunda has like 13 goals against in 9 games. Very low-event hockey in general

I was already excited to watch Raymond and Veleno play today, but now I’m ever more excited. Can’t beat watching 4 Red Wings prospects in one game during the offseason. Even if Niederbach is only going to play 2 shifts

Looks like I overestimated . Still a great sign for him to get rewarded playing with the big club

Raymond looked good today - not great - but good. He probably should've had 1-2 more points but had some bad luck. It's also a good reminder for those that are upset he's not scoring 2+ points a game that he's 18 years old playing in the SHL.
