Just curious, and figured you guys might have insight: What's Pronger's status? I've heard he may not play this season. Is he struggling with post concussion syndrome still? Any insight would be appreciated?

How much longer can we get away with putting him on LTIR every year?
Pronger gave some welcome good news about his own condition to TSN's Ryan Rishaug on the TV broadcast, saying it's more about his vision than anything else. Whether he ever plays again is almost irrelevant—at times, his quality of life in the wake of the injury has been terrible. Frankly, it was nice seeing him. Hockey's different without him.
"(I'm) just doing what I'm told to do, and hopefully it continues to progress," Pronger said. "It's going slowly, but any progression at this stage is good."
I could see the Flyers organization grooming him for GM/Head Coach in the coming years.
As for his playing career, I believe his is done.
Hopefully January/February he can return.
wut...?
Jan/Feb 2016? He should never play again, for his health and family's sake.
Exactly. Also we wouldn't be able to fit him under the cap. The fact we're using it up probably tells you everything about the likelyhood of him playing ever again.
He still looks like he's in good shape though. I mean, just look at Tony Amonte...
