Eric Staal (Ron Francis)
Nathan Horton (Todd Bertuzzi)
Didn't want to compare Horton to an NHL outcast, but if Horton can get passed injury woes, he might end up like Bert or maybe a poor man's Bert.
Nikolai Zherdev (Alexei Kovalev)
Thomas Vanek (A healthy Martin Straka)
Milan Michalek (Martin Rucinsky)
I like the Rucinsky comparison!
Ryan Suter (Wade Redden)
Braydon Coburn (Darius Kasparaitis)
Don't think Coburn is nearly the kind of body-checker / open ice hitter that Kaspar is. Doesn't really play the same kamikaze style. Furthermore, I think Coburn has more offensive upside.
Dion Phaneuf (Chris Pronger in 2000)
I find that pretty ambitious to say the least
Andrei Kostitsyn (Alexei Yashin)
Yashin is pretty much impossible to knock of the puck because of his strength/size. I think Kostitsyn is more flashy, but much easier to knock of the puck.
Jeff Carter (Jeff O'Neill)
Hugh Jessiman (Brad Isbister)
Dustin Brown (Kyle Calder)
I like the Calder comparison!
Brent Seabrooke (Chris Phillips)
Robert Nilsson (Jonas Hoglund)
Steve Bernier (Eric Daze)
Zach Parise (Mike Comrie)
Eric Fehr (Mark Parrish)
Ryan Getzlaf (Jeff O'Neill)
Brent Burns (Darryl Sydor)
Mark Stuart (Chris Chelios)
Marc-Antoine Pouliot (Mike Ribeiro)
Ryan Kesler (Trevor Linden)
Mike Richards (Mike Peca)
Anthony Stewart (2003 John Leclair)
Brian Boyle (Chris McAllister)
McAllister is quite brutal, but not out of the question.
Jeff Tambellini (Martin St. Louis)
Corey Perry (Andrew Brunette)
Patrick Eaves (Chris Gratton)
Shawn Belle (Brent Sopel)
