My take on the Bruins:

Marchand-Bergeron-Bjork
DeBrusk-Krejci-Pastrnak
Heinen-Coyle-Kuhlman
Nordstrom-Kuraly-Wagner
Lindholm/Ritchie

Chara-McAvoy
Krug-Carlo
Grzelcyk-Clifton
Kampfer

Rask
Halak

Backes is buried in Providence and Miller goes on LTIR to free up 3.5 M in space, giving Boston 10.7 M. That may be just enough to space to re-sign McAvoy and Carlo, likely on bridge deals though. I don't see them having enough space to sign one or both long-term unless they figure out a way to dump Backes.

He could make it. I think Shestyorkin has earned a spot based on what he showed in the second best league in the world last season, but Georgiyev could make it. It becomes harder for the two younger goalies to make the team because Lundqvist gets a spot without having to earn it. He should be the one that is third on the depth chart, but his contract won't allow that to happen.
So then he has to be traded or he is sent down thus putting him on waivers. Am I correct. So shestyorkin us probably going to Hartford right.

Dallas might go with something like this to start-

Dickinson-Seguin-Radulov
Benn-Hintz-Pavelski
Gurianov-Faksa-Perry
Cogliano-Dellandrea-Comeau/Janmark

Lindell-Klingberg
Heiskanen-Sekera
Oleksiak-Polak

This obviously changes if Johns is ready to go, or Dellandrea isn’t ready for the NHL yet.

Knowing his distrust of finesse players and need for grinding, here's what I'm expecting Q to do:

I'm wondering if some of that reputation is just spurious. The Hawks have been a soft finesse team for a long time.
