Sweet title, eh?

Let's play the prediction game. Try and predict the production (goals, assists, points, games played, etc.) of our players for 2014-15!

Who will lead the team in goals, points, SHG, SHP, PPG, PPP?

The head of each stat will be handed down equally to whomever Yzerjesus deems worthy. This is the way of Yzlam.

some of you will say this is all crazy. I do think we are top 8 power play. Good news is we will be a top 10 also on pk:) 4 more wins this year with more ties imo than 9. We should be one of the top teams in nhl.

I see drouin and stamkos in 2015-2016 breaking it down and scoring 100 myself. Drouin will not get there this year because wont move up fast enough.

palat will lead us in shorties beat johnson by one at least. Yes I think erne makes the team. Vladdy is getting called up at one point. Connolly will score goals but struggle and brown and panik just wont cut it. Defensively they will be fine but will not finish and they are not here much longer. Others who can play lower lines and be physical and play good pk and finish scoring goals are coming IE: Odonnell and Kunyk.

We're setting a new NHL trend and running 5 lines and 8 D every game, I like it.

You think Erne will make the team? How does Panik get 25 points probably playing mostly on the 4th line and he can't cut it? Killorn will put up at least 40 points, especially if he plays like he did in the playoffs. I also think you got Kucherov and Connolly's numbers backwards, you know Connolly is far superior I just don't know why you can't admit it.

This would give us far and away the best offense in the NHL. 1980s Edmonton Oilers type offense. I'm counting something like 350 total goals there. Anaheim led the league last year with about 260.

So I doubt that's gonna happen, Rob. ;)

Hey - Hawks fan coming in peace - had no idea which thread to put this in - so used this one...

my short question is whether you think Stamkos can hit 100 pts

the longer version of the question is that on the main board (i know, i know) they've started a thread "Has Stamkos already peaked" (i know, i know)...i said that not only don't i think he hasn't peaked, i think he has untapped playmaking ability in him that he can probably result in him hitting 100 pts

my own posts were: http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showpost.php?p=87839097&postcount=32
and
http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showpost.php?p=87840751&postcount=35

can one of you guys please comment?

...fwiw, i'm not just bugging you for no reason. stamkos is my #2 favourite player in the nhl, so i'm happy for agreeable comments.

Stamkos will probably be in the neighborhood of 100 points for as long as he's healthy. Even with his injury last season, he was on pace for something like 55 goals. Can't see that changing. There's also the Drouin factor to consider.

I don't think he's peaked, but I think the area where we'll see him grow is in his two-way game. At the first of last season he was playing a very well-rounded game and was surprisingly physical, particularly in the corners.

Can't agree with this more. Honestly, I see Stamkos as being in his peak around 26-27. He's still 23 years old. By most standards, that's a kid just graduating college.

I see Stammer turning into a much, much more dangerous machine. He's getting physical, he's got a shot that'll break you in half (should you dare to get in front of it), and he's hungry... We got to hear from him at an event down here when he was just coming back and boy oh boy was that kid dying to get back on the ice.

IS IT OCTOBER YET?

not everyone will be here at the end of the year.

Yet I am saying what their totals will be for the year.

THE only thing I am pretty sure of barring injury is drouin running away with an award and us not being locked out of the awards this year:)

I expect 2-3 even 3-4 people not to be here at end of year.

Not sure who that is but just a feeling we are gonna move some more people out as we can and they have worth loading up on more picks next year etc..

The stamkos thing? Not this year but next year? If drouin is as advertised and nothing has shown he is not stamkos is gonna break 100 as long as has a healthy year. He is becoming a better player and isnt even close to his prime years yet lol.
