Is there a $40 price floor on ticketexcange for resale of tickets? I'm surprised the cheapest tickets for tonight's Buffalo game is still $40 with so many available. They seem to be removing resale tickets from the site before game time too?
I had it explained to me once by my SSH ticket rep, but essentially they have a mechanism to prevent pricing dropping to a certain level to protect the integrity of there product (similar to what Apple, Bose, Dyson etc do). Each price tier of ticket can only be lowered to a certain price point.
It was also put in to protect the season seat holders, as if prices are always going so low, then there would be no benefit of even being a SSH.
