I guess the main interest here is in seeing how Bergy goes and viewing the first outing for out top line. I'm curious to see Lindholm again too, as he was very good against the Devils and is firming as our first backup C, which may be required as soon as the season opener if Krejci isn't ready by then.

Otherwise, a lazy 5 goal little tune-up before the real stuff begins would be nice!

I only ask that nobody gets hurt in this.

Thank you, Fenway, for the GT thread! Thanks for the clip on the Rockford files theme, it reminded my of the time, I got to meet James Garner a a few years ago, before he passed away. I thanked him for all of his great movies and TV shows, especially Rockford Files, he was very nice to talk to and really appreciated hearing from his fans, we had a few laughs and shook hands too. A really nice guy!.

Welcome to the Jungle
I am wondering if this will be the game 1 lineup minus Krejci.

If Coyle is on line 2 I would guess it is more of a continuing evaluation. If Coyle is on line 3 then it’s more of a tuneup. Of course Coyle on line 2 could also be a tuneup if the B’s are more concerned about Krejci then they are letting on.

don't like the idea of playing a glorified AHL team with basically our dress rehearsal lineup.
these final games are usually like summer league games, but put a bunch of guys looking
to make impressions on the ice, and let's just hope none of our guys get run/injured.

Has there been any news about Krejci at all?

Yeah, this is Cassidy's comment from yesterday morning's practice:

"He's (Krejci's) in today getting treatment. Obviously not on the ice. He won't play tomorrow. I think he'll be back on the ice Sunday or Monday and hopefully with the group early next week to get ready to go."

So fairly positive news there, though it will be good to actually see him back on the ice. At least it definitely doesn't seem like anything serious.

I will also be looking closely at David Backes to see if he can keep up his play of the past 2 games. It will be a bit hard to judge since they're playing Chicago's B team but can't do anything about that.

I’m working 3-11 so just going to catch the highlights, I’m not big on pre season although I’ve watched a little more this year than I usually do .

As others have stated, no injuries please and I hope those going aren`t paying big bucks to watch this one with all the spare parts playing for the Hawks.

Yea our philosophy seems to be different than pretty much every other team with regards to the last game of preseason. Concerned about it as well.

So after Pastrnak, who has the best chance at playing the middle 6 RW spots? Bjork seems like a guy that should make it. After that it looks like Studnicka has had a good camp but you also have Kuhlman and Cehlarik.
