Looks like the wings will be icing a similar line up to the Leafs, came over here expecting all the Leafs big guns to be playing glad theyre not though.

The wings recalled 8 from GR, one goalie, 2 AHL vets and a few prospects. The only one worth keeping an eye on is Ryan Sproul really. Ouellet and Sproul should be paired up and the wings have high hopes for both and are fun to watch.

Callahan up means a scrap with someone around Ashtons weight class might happen

I suppose with the lineup yesterday this makes sense since we play on Oct 1st but this lineups a bit of a joke, unless one of these Marlie call ups stands a chance at taking a roster spot because of our cap issue.

Whats Percys cap hit? could see him going 6/7 if they plan on cutting Reilly

You never know what you will miss. Maybe we have another Buffalo-incident brewing, or the kids really step up.

Liles, Franson, Reimer, Holzer, Bolland.

Technically we need 3 more vets.

I'm guessing Carlyle is messing with us

Did we ever figure out how many games it is? 100? Holzer wouldn't meet that then would he?

Korbinian played 22 last year and 24 in his career and wasn't a first round pick in the most recent draft so he wouldn't count. Correct me if I'm wrong though, my eyes are going.

Yeah we need 3 more guys

Unless the Leafs got special permission

4 if Holzer doesn't count which to my understanding, does.

Maybe they take the lockout into account and look at the percentage of games they played :dunno:

Reimer, Bolland, Bodie, Orr, Liles, Franson, Holzer (if 30 gm thing is correct) is 7.

Maybe they take the lockout into account and look at the percentage of games they played

I thought of that but then that would come out to about 17-18 GP and the most any of those played was Colborne with 7 GP.

I know they didn't say Bernier was backing up but that's the only thing I can think of. Maybe Clarkson ends up drawing in.

Bowen and Millen alluded to this last night.

The Leafs (regulars) will be playing early in the week.
This is their rest/practice period.

Carlyle on his roster: "I've made some decisions but I think there's still some things that are left out there."

I guess this is why he's playing the young guys, to have another look see, before he finalizes his roster.

I woke up feeling sick as **** so won't be going to the game tonight that's for sure.

Reimer is definitely starting because I'm watching leafs game day and reimer is being interviewed.

I don't understand why Clarkson wouldn't play given he's about to miss 10 games.
